Frozen Fan Fest is back for October 2026, and Disney is using it as more than a merchandise campaign: the month-long push combines a new animated story, products and experiences while the franchise moves toward Frozen 3.
Disney Experiences announced the return of Frozen Fan Fest on October 1, framing the celebration around new ways to revisit Arendelle across content and consumer products.
A new animated Frozen story is part of the rollout
The Night Before the Royal Fitting is a new Disney Off the Page Adventures story coming to Disney Kids YouTube during the celebration. Disney describes the storybook-style animation as following Anna after her engagement while she and Elsa prepare for a special occasion in Arendelle.
Yes, there is merchandise
Fan Fest is also a product event. Disney is tying new merchandise to the story and the broader Frozen celebration, which is exactly the kind of smaller fan-facing development Castle Chronicle is expanding its newsroom to cover alongside movies and parks.
The larger Frozen clock is already ticking
Disney’s announcement also points ahead to Frozen 3, currently planned for November 2027. That makes Fan Fest a useful bridge: Disney can keep the franchise active now without pretending the next theatrical chapter is imminent.
What we’ll track
Castle Chronicle will follow notable Disney Store drops, park collections, collectibles, publishing, brand collaborations and fan events when there is something genuinely new to report. We are not turning the site into a shopping catalog; the goal is to make sure “all Disney” actually means all Disney.
